LIVE · watching Spain for openings
Cita slots vanish in minutes.
You deserve a fair shot.
Tired of refreshing Extranjería or DGT all day? When someone spots a free appointment for your NIE, TIE/huellas, EU registration or DGT licence exchange, you get the alert — then you book it yourself on the official site, for free.
- Instant email the moment a matching slot is confirmed
- Never asks for your NIE, passport or ID numbers
- £2.99 once · 30 days of alerts · no subscription
Slots often go before you can refresh. One coffee’s price. Thirty days of watching for you.
If you’ve been stuck waiting…
Refreshing for hours
The official page is empty, then a slot flashes and it’s gone. You’re not imagining it — they move that fast.
Life on hold
NIE, TIE, licence exchange — work, travel and paperwork wait on one appointment you can’t get.
Speed wins
CitaWatch emails you the moment a matching slot is confirmed, so you’re in the room when it matters.
How we get the information (please read)
The official booking systems ask for personal ID and/or use captcha protection before they show availability. We respect that, so we do not check government websites automatically. Alerts fire when people who have just seen free slots report them. A sighting goes out once it is confirmed by more than one person (or by a subscriber’s personal link, or by us checking by hand).
Alerts can be late or miss openings. Slots often go within minutes. We will never ask you to pay for an appointment — selling citas has led to police investigations in Spain.
How it works
- 1. ChoosePick your procedure and province and pay £2.99 once. Your alert lasts 30 days.
- 2. Get alertedWhen free slots are confirmed for your match, you get an email at the same moment — SMS/WhatsApp if you opted in.
- 3. Book it yourselfThe alert links to the official site. You book for free. Saw slots? Use your personal link to tip everyone else off.

Is this the official appointment system?
No. CitaWatch is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the Spanish government, the Policía Nacional, the Ministerio or the DGT. We only send alerts: we never book, hold, reserve or sell appointments, and official citas are free. Book on the official sites: Extranjería/Policía cita previa and DGT cita previa.
Do you book or reserve appointments for me?
Never. We don’t book, hold, reserve or resell appointments and we never ask for your NIE, passport or other ID numbers.
Do you check the government website automatically?
No. Those sites use captcha/anti-bot protection and ask for personal data, so automatic checking would mean getting round them. Our alerts come from community reports.
Is there anything official I should try first?
Yes. For the DGT, UK licences can now be exchanged online without a cita if you have Cl@ve or a digital certificate. For TIE/huellas, recent news reports say the police are rolling out automatic cita assignment in several provinces (see the TIE guide). You can also phone 060 for DGT citas.
What does £2.99 get me?
Alerts for one procedure in one province for 30 days, as many times as sightings are confirmed. It’s a one-off payment and doesn’t renew. See the Terms for refunds and your 14-day right of withdrawal.
